hopefully a kayak fisherman will get in the prototyping loop. That deep center post is an element in surf-skis where keeping shipped water to a minimum is part of the design,,in a fishing SOT there's lots of open room in the cockpit for fishing. The Wildersess Systems Tarpon 140 is a good example of a fishing SOT. An integral deep box behind the cockpt for the average small cooler would be a good idea
