Just to be different, skip the end pours. Roughly shape a piece of scrap pine and bed it in the end with epoxy/woodflour, then trim it to size across the shear clamps. It'll use a lot less epoxy so it'll be much cheaper and lighter than an endpour (1/2 the weight or less).
