Sorry I missed this one.

On the Chesapeake Double, the CLC SailRig should be mounted over the front cockpit.

This gives the rudder maximum leverage to swing the stern of the long, straight-tracking hull around when at speed. You'd continue to con the boat from the stern cockpit.

The SailRig should mimic the alignment of a single kayak in placement over the forward cockpit of the Double, ie, with the aft aka close to the rear of the forward cockpit. This will allow a passenger in the forward cockpit to paddle with a full stroke if desired.

I can't see any advantage to having multiple installation points on the Double.
