That's exactly what my wife and I plan on doing this summer if I get my 16 LT finished. We used to canoe camp with one of those old gray Grummans. Heavy as all get out on portages. My wife's 16 Lt was finished last fall and has had a few paddles. Been by the Allegheny resevoir on numerouse trips to Rasalas Pa to visit friends. We used to live in Steuben Cty NY in a town called Greenwood. Would have been convenient to make the trip from there, however we have relocated to the Hudson river valley just south of Albany, NY. It would make for a long drive. Maybe someday. Good luck, Peter
