Relax, Pete, you're doing fine, and much better than a lot of first time builders. That deeper V in the keel can be eased by removing the stitches and planing or carving (with a sharp chisel, utility knife, rasp or Surform plane) the panel edges a bit at a time. This should also close up the gaps in the keel seam towards the ends of the boat. Do these corrections first.

The differing lenghts of the bottom and side panels at the bow and stern are no problem at all. Just trim the long ones to fit the shorter panels. No one will ever know after it's glassed up. I've yet to see another CLC builder measure my boats for dimensional perfection. If they did, they'd be disappointed.

S&G boat building is very forgiving. Consider yourself forgiven.
