Originally, there were two humps, caused by a flat spot in the middle of the cockpit area between the bulkheads. By cutting along the seam from bulkhead to bulkhead, and spreading the seam with spacers, I was able to eliminate (almost) the forward hump. Because the hull is "tabbed" to the aft bulkhead, I can't pull the seam apart in the vicinity of the bulkhead. I think I'm going to break out the dremel tool, and see if I can carefully cut the tabs around the aft bulkhead, to allow me to spread the seam a bit, and eliminate the aft hump. Unless someone has a better idea...
