Re: Back Band

If you plan to do any rolling you need Lee's suggested distance of the hieght of a fist i.e 4 inches between your back and the coaming. However, I find I move the seat(and back rest)to adjust the degree of weathercocking to what I am willing to tolerate (with only me in the boat no cargo). To reduce weatercocking the 4 inches usually gets reduced. I velco the seat down and leave adjustment length on the the back band straps so I can move the seat.
