WR 18 ring bulkheads

I'm sure this subject has been covered more then once, but I'm pretty forgetful in my old age.

I am in the process of stitching up my well-aged WR18 kit and need to decide what to do with the two ring bulkheads, #1 & #4. I recall that some builders used them per the instructions and some removed them after the hull shape was established. In the least I am planning on adding generous limber holes top & bottom if they are left in.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
