MC16.5 solo paddler seat
Posted by Tom M. (MD) on Apr 16, 2005
I have a MillCreek 16.5 which I finished last fall. I have the two standard wooden seats velcroed to the bottom of the boat...no cleat. They are in the design position along with the adjustable foot braces in the design positions.
I paddle it myself a lot. I sit in the rear seat as this seems to be best. But it is too far back. I thought about repositioning the seat to more of the middle when I'm paddling solo, but then...what about the foot braces? Do I just do without them, or add another pair?
What do any of you with the MC 16.5 do when paddling single?
