Whoa. Sounds strange. Just how much resin is on that hull? Epoxy, right? Sounds like a very unusual situation for 6oz glass and epoxy resin. Epoxy and 6oz cloth is very flexible and not prone to cracking in far more extreme situations. Is it cracking right down through the cloth to the wood? Could it be that moisture got into the okoume ply from the inside? The moisture cycling could get cracks going if the interior is poorly sealed or ventilated. Ventilation! Do cracks appear in the area of the cockpit?
