How difficult is scarfing
Posted by Greg on Apr 14, 2005
Hello everyone. I've been doing a lot of reading on this site and I'm interested in building a pair of Chesapeake 17's. I'd probably order one boat as a kit, and order the materials for the second. It seems like the most difficult part of building a non-kit boat is scarfing the panels. I was wondering how difficult and time consuming this process is. Also, if you'd like to give any advice or techniques for scarfing, that would be great. Thanks.
Greg
