Thanks for the tip. Of course, I now have had my memory jogged and realize that I did fiberglass around the bow tip. It's been so long since I started this damned project that I've forgotten what has gone right and what hasn't. Endless problems with epoxy not sticking b/c of failure to sand between second and third coats caused adhesion problems (which are not resolved) and delay. I will put on a reinforcement of fiberglass at the bow nonetheless. Thanks for the input.
