Actually, it's the winter months that are more favorable for kayaking here.

During the summer, it's over 30degC during the day and drops to a more pleasant 29degC over night, with the relative humidity rarely dropping below 70%. There is also the 12-20knot afternoon breeze, which whips up the ocean into a 2-3 foot chop.

The winter months are a lot cooler, low 20's, and bring weeks of calm weather, milkpond like oceans. The winter is also better, since the locals don't like cold water(20degC, you can have entire beaches to yourself.
