No. Some even think that the heating and cooling of the epoxy helps it but it should not hurt it. I do know that it starts to get soft at 140 so I would clamp, heat, tighten the clamps, heat and so to see if you can get any movement. If you do get the goo soft enough to let you move the wood then once it cools it WILL stay that way. Some guys use a heat gun to soften the stuff to make scraping mistakes and runs and drips easier too.

If your hull is to be painted then this is all a waste of time by the way. Just sand it fair before glassing and paint will hide all.
