roll every trip

pleased to here that everything turned out fine kurt. Experiences like that are not enjoyable - even if they do make a good story.

some really interesting discussions about skill and experience.

It is all too easy to practice in a pool and think you have mastered your skill. Real life situations often make things much more difficult. Part of my paddling ritual is to roll every trip. I hope that this gives me the confidence to do the business in stressful situations.
