Re: tape in cockpit?

It seems that we have now much information on this subject. Many people, from CLC to various builders have said what they did.
What we now lack is information that is usable and known to be reliable by the builder (the customer).
We don't know if "what Joe did" is too much, too little, or about right.
It seems that some valid general guidelines are the next step.
CLC, maybe some nearby engineering school would be willing to volunteer?
Engineering schools typically have a surplus of what you and your customers lack (theory and test lab capacity) and a shortage of what you have in excess (real-world problems to solve).
Just a thought.
