Small Boat Design Book

Are there any books out there that would give me the basics of small boat design? I don't plan on designing one, but my "adventures in kayak building" have me curious. I'd like to know more about hull design vs. speed/stability. I'd also like to know how the center of gravity of the paddlers effects the boat's performance. I'm curious about the drag on the hull versus wetted hull area. Etc. Is there anything like this out there.
