Re: use squeegee

i regularly use the squeegee technigue for the initial wet out and fill coats.
i tend to agree it is more efficient (less epoxy used) in filling the weave than simply rolling it on. however, even with a sqeegee, you will still see a weave develop and sanding is going to be required.
alot of times, i will actually use a roll and squeegee technique as opposed to a roll and tip. as somebody in this thread mentioned...it gets a bit tough to keep it neat when you are dealing with vertical or highly angled surfaces...so i use the roller to apply the epoxy and then smooth/spread it with a squeegee.
