Inside Appearance

Hello, In the cockpit area my epoxy/glass job is not so fair. Also from bow to stern I have areas with fairly prominent runs. Basicly I used to much epoxy in some spots. My question is, since this is all on the inside and it will not been seen, is the weight saved worth sanding it all down removing the runs? It's a CH16.
