Thanks folks, I picked up some 320 grit wet/dry paper and flipped the boat over. The deck had been curing for 72 hours at this point. Grabbed the bucket and went to town. Works like a charm, it does. I think I'll be following Mac's advice when I come back around to the hull and use something in a bit more aggressive grit to kill off my previous inconsistencies, and taper back to the 320 before I re-coat.
