Re: Planing sheer clamps

I understand the 24 to 30 inch radius transition. My concern is that when the sheer is planed to a 30" radius the angle from horizontal is 27 degrees. When you lay a protractor across the sheer and carlin the angle is 13 degrees. the side deck plywood would make a 14 degree bend in 3 1/2 inches. Will the plywood bend that much without a gap around the outside edge?
