Am I the only person that LIKES to see my mistakes on this boat? I love the little screw-ups; they're like scars on people. It's what makes them unique and gives them character. I wouldn't want a painted boat if you gave it to me. (Well, I'd take it, I'd just strip it and varnish her.)

Call me crazy (I've heard worse) but I think half the beauty of a bright boat is seeing the reality that it was indeed home built and floats anyway. And is more beautiful than 95% of the boats out there today, glass, plastic, kevlar, whatever.
