HI John I just pulled the panels on my mc 16.5 together at the back and wired them together. This makes what I guess is called a Knife edge. I did this before I really knew what resource this board is. Most other builders have split the difference and put half the overhange at the front and half at the back. My mc paddels just fine but I am slightly concerned about strength if I put a rudder on for a sail kit.
