Those bronze padeyes should look really nice.

By the way, anyone know anything about welding bronze? I have a newer pier with a floating dock and I from owners of similar piers that the steel fittings that attach the ramp to the main pier and float don't hold up all that well in storms (they had a very, very rare hurricane two years ago). Anyhow, I was thinking that when teh fittings go (they're already rusting faster than I can paint them) I'll spend the extra $ and have the fittings copied in either stainless or bronze falt bar stock, but I'm not familiar with welding bronze.
