footplate positition

hi

i'm starting to feel a little cheeky asking so many questions. Thanks to everyone who helps out. It's a massive help.

I've just bought some Yakima footplates. I want to stick them in them before fitting the deck. It is difficult to gauge where they should be without sitting in the cockpit. Can anyone give me the ideal distance from the front bulkhead and the height from the bottom of the side panel.
