rub rails on MC13

I am at the point where I am about to attach the rub rails to my MC 13. Are there any good tips or pointers out there? Did you taper yours at the bow and stern? If so, how much of a taper? Did you run them all the way to the end of the boat or did you hold them back a bit? A some good close up pictures would help me out a lot here, as I have no ideas. Anyone have any pointers on how to attach them nice straight and neatly? Thank Lou in MN
