Terry, you sound almost philosophical! I have to agree though. My Dad is the reason that I'm a tinkerer. When I was a kid, I loved sitting and watching him as he put together these incredible wooden model railroad kits, complete with weathering etc. When I was older we worked on everything from model cars, to dirt bikes, to real cars together. He's still alive and kicking, and hopefully (God willing) will stay that way for some time, but we don't see each other enough. That's when memories like the ones you are creating now, Jim, are so valuable. My oldest daughter is going to be a high school senior next year. She wants me to build a kayak for her. She doesn't know it yet, but she'll be helping!
