Here's a good example, the aft deck rigging is configured well but it's so narrow that it won't accomodate any Euro paddle or secure a spare paddle well given the bungies will be holding a few inches of the ends of the blades or shaft. A friend built a Ch17 a couple years ago and for some reason placed the aft hatch in the same place.
