Thanks for the info, guys. I should have posted this before, it would have saved me from a little bit of sanding anyway. I'll say one thing, sanding teaches patience. When I started this project, I had this idea that I could get a bunch of it done before the spring semester started. I did, but I can't guarantee that the inside of the boat will look as nice as the outside. Fortunately, those areas will not be seen by the general public. They'll be there to remind me that next time, I shouldn't push ahead as quickly. Actually I don't mind the sanding so much. Between working full time, being married with two teenage daughters and taking three classes a week, if I get a couple of hours to myself in the basement, even sanding can be relaxing.
