Which is exactly why each step in the instruction manual doesn't have a number of pumps specified, something that would otherwise be an obvious addition. The pump sizes change all the time as the epoxy manufacturers experiment with different sizes and makes. We'd never keep up in the manuals.

What's more, the safe quantity to mix changes with temperature. In hot weather, 20-pump mixes will be smoking within minutes. In a drafty Winter shop, it shouldn't be too much if you're on top of the choreography.
