The fibers are for making the strongest possible schmutz. Think of them as BILL-yuns and BILL-yuns of little rebars, with apologies to Carl Sagan (ad astra, Carl!).

That's a pretty intelligent sounding answer, ain't it? 'Specially seein' as how I never ever even SEED Plastic Mini Fibers before. I was wondering if they went down any better than Metamucil...
