Dewalt my fav

Get a Dewalt with a wide variety of blades. Cutting wood that you will find yourself using for kayak building requires fine-toothed blades in the 40 teeth range. You get beautiful cuts with those babies. If the blades are thin enough you can even floss your teeth with them but that's only good if you have wide gaps between your teeth and really stubborn plaque issues.

I'm an unabashed fan of Dewalt tools. I've used all the cheapo power tools and have burned them out in no time flat but a Dewalt - I'm still trying but they just won't break.
