Re: Solar Splash?

I'm not THAT far up north, sheesh! The horizon is still light in June at 2330h, rises at something like 0455h; in winter it sets at 1630h in December and rises at uhm, who knows, all I know is that in winter I go to work in the dark and go home in the dark.
Speaking of solar stuff, canadians invented a new paint that converts the suns light to electricity 5x better than those dumb old silicon chippy things. This will have a huge impact for paddlers who want to generate power for GPS' and other electric things. In fact, we could coat our decks with this paint, rig up a couple of wires and have a natural solar collector onboard.
We may be cold all winter long BUT we are using our brains while we're stuck up here in the dark.
