Well said Lee. Any epoxy without glass that gets dinged leads to wood stain.

My suggestions are: to do the fiberglass tape trick to keep the glass tread tangle from happening, hang plastic clothspins on the free edge of the coth where you need some weight to pull out cloth puckers and inspect the epoxy/glass after it sets to flypaper (2 hours) and press down any spots where the cloth has lifted or to rewet a dry spot.
