Yes indeed I have (where'd you hear about it???), thank you for bringing it up! We have set a month and a location, and the exact date is to be announced real soon like.

The Texas Kayak Builders Bash 2005 will be held at Inks Lake State Park, just northwest of Austin, this April (30th, possibly), Saturday and Sunday. Although all paddle craft are welcome, we specifically invite homemade boats, and not just kayaks. Bring your canoe, pirogue, qajak, Qiak (yes, there is such a thing), etc!

Gerald Kennedy, John Caldeira, and myself are working to come up with a schedule of events to include displays, demonstrations, and clinics. All of it will informal, and FUN, stuff; we will also provide lotsa hot grill space, so bring your eats and drinks too.

Inks Lake is a beautiful Hill Country State Park near Burnet, with lots of shady camping, and easy access to the water from most campsites. I'll get back to y'all with estimated travel times, definite date, maps, website for information, etc., etc.

Cheers! Kurt
