I like adjustable foot braces so you can move the seat to trim the kayak by moving the seat a few inches. I use Yakima they are stonger the Keepers.

I put the dreaded 5 oz. glass on the deck.

Joe greenley makes and sells mini cell seats that eveyone raves about.
