Thanks Doug, I found the Heavy Silky paper at a local art supply store, after going to a bunch looking for rice paper to do some tests with. One store asked what I was using it for, when I told them I was going to be doing some laminated artwork "like on sufboards". They told me which store to go to, and that they where the only store local who carried the stuff I was looking for. They carried it in 31" x 43" sheets for $1.90 a sheet. I have since found a site that sells it (same price), as I was looking for a partial roll, or a 18' long peice for the deck so that I wont have to try to line up edges. The site (adding a link) doesn't sell partial rolls. Its sometimes called a "rice paper" but technically it's not. It's a synthetic material.

I messed around with it a bit before I actually put it on my boat, different paints, inks, stuff like that.

Hope it helps..Mike
