I tried to get my wife interested in building, so I could loaf more. You'd have thought I asked her to eat that new Russian dish with the dioxin.

Even my cat ignores me when I'm in the shop.

Solitude is the lot of the amatuer boatbuilder. . . until the boat is done and friends appear out of the woodwork to borrow it.
