I didn't glass my deck, however, I did add an extra stiffener between the rear hatch and rudder to strengthen the area for re-entry. I have used the CLC happy bottom seat and rapid pulse back band and I think they are very comfy. Although I am sure that many posters would disagree, but I think that there is a tendency to over glass, by many builders. Nothing wrong with that if you don't mind the extra weight. My opinion only.
