Interesting discrepencies. I think my instructions said something about marking a place for them, and I fitted them but removed them for the actual filleting. Of course, I also have a bit of twist in my hull which may have been prevented if I'd left them in. Who knows, go with your instinct and put them in...it can't hurt anything.
