Have you fiberglassed the hull yet? A lot of those epoxy stains simply disappear when you do that. You'll be able to tell better then.

Of course try to sand away any epoxy mixed with wood flour as much as you can because you will see that. It won't be quite as noticeable once you glass over it though.
