Your Aft Bulkhead Hatch

This picture of your aft bulkhead hatch is excellent.

I have a different, less elegant fastner in mind, perhaps four tabs on the outside that work like the tabs used in the flush hatch cover kits CLC has.

Or I could have something involving a bolt and wingnut.

I was thinking of still having a hatch in the deck, and I've only been thinking of doing this for aft deck, but having that hatch well back and small (Kajak makes a 6" diameter one). I could position items I've shoved through by reaching through the small hatch.
