Double - 'flat' deckbeam

In my version of the instructions ( 2.1 ) there are no instructions for fitting the middle/flat deckbeam. I think that it is too thin to screw into place like the laminated ones. It also looks like it should be filleted as well.

Suggestions?

Also - what is the latest version of the instructions? Are there any details in there?

Also - Has anyone had any success emailing CLC? I sent an email to Ed over a week ago - no reply. I send another email to the info address a week ago - also no reply...
