The only problem I have with the microballoons is the color. The purple really stands out under lighter paint colors and usually requires an extra coat. I thought I saw white microballoons somewhere, but I can't recall where.

For smaller imperfections (like the ones in my otherwise sterling character) I like to use that acrylic surfacing putting the marine supply houses sell. Dries very fast and is easy to work. And it's WHITE!
