Although not shown on my webpage, I ran the strips over the ends of the shear and trimmed them prior to glassing. If I were to do it again, I'd leave about 1/4" overhanging until after both sides are glassed. I glassed the inside and outside of the deck. When I glassed the interior, the flat rear deck curled slightly. I had a small section that was near the rear bulkhead (already glassed in the hull) that did not quite line up.
