Hey Mac,

I had to retrofit a bulkhead through a small hatch on an old boat for a friend. He's a fisherman and he was afraid his gear would puncture a float bag. Same problem: the bulkhead wouldn't fit. So I cut it in half lengthwise and filleted in the bottom half, flipped the boat over the next day and filleted in the top half, then glassed the joint.

Worked, I guess, as I still have the friend and he still has his boat.
