Craig,

Just spoke with the guys at Norway Nordic - my kayak outfitter and cross country ski guys. They informed me that they order the bulk reels directly from Seaward Kayaks on Canada's West Coast.

'Tween you and I, I'll bet that most of the top end FG and Kevlar yaks probably use something similar. It's just a matter of going to a showroom and getting cooties by actually touching their best yaks, looking for the softest black perimeter line with little silver diamond shaped thingies as a result of the weave. (Hope this wasn't too technical). Then ask the guys if they stock it or can get it.
