Hi, Lloyd (my middle name)

My kayak is 19 feet long, so taking into account the 23" width, there was less than a foot left over from the 40 feet.

I'm up in Montreal, Quebec, where it is presently staying below freezing day and night. Paddling days are numbered here, if not finished for the season, for us old farts.
