I actually investigated the replacement value issue for a kit boat with my insurer (USAA). I never got a straight answer as to whether they would give me a new kit, or a new professionaly built boat.

Will someone kindly steal one of my boats so I can get Charlie to build me a new one and then see if USAA will pay for it?
