Re: Sanding varnish reqt'

I've been using Starbrite boat polish the last few years. They make a lot of different polishes and the one I use has a very mild abrasive that just dulls the gloss ever so slightly. I've also used appliance wax, which also has a mild abrasive, not because it was recommended, but because I had a can in the basement and going out to buy something else would have involved expending calories and $. Some of the very fine auto polishes will work - you may want to get one with no wax and no silicone - makes refinishing later on a bit easier.
Now I best wax productive and get back to work.
